1. The musty smell that people complain about in the poor reviews comes from the ocean breezes and perhaps the carpet absorbing that.

2. They have a cafe and a coffee shop on site, we had an evening meal in the cafe, the service was quite poor, and the waiter had a problem understanding english.

3. The room was clean and comfy, although quite drab, but we did have coffee making facilities, molten brown products, free parking and papers, the rooms at the back do have poor views, but as we only stayed for one night it did not matter.

7. Service in the Restaurant was excellent , as was housekeeping, so in our view poor Front Desk service stands out as something the hotel should address with a little training.

9. The minibar was an empty refrigerator, one had to go to vending machines to get something cold to drink, the carpeting, fabrics, courtains and furniture were extremely outdated, even ripped in some place, not to mention the TV, wich was ancient, and was in very poor contrast with the flat screen TV`s of the other much cheaper hotels we stayed at the previous days.

10. How can a hotel at this price have such poor beds? The tag on the bed had a manufacture date of 1997 (yes, I looked).
