1. Bottom Line - I would stay there again, but not on Friday or Saturday because of the noise.

2. The Bad - on both Friday and Saturday, there was a lot of noise from 'party people' - young people who seemed to use the hotel as a gathering place for parties - very noisy.

3. The pool looked super nice, but unless you can stand the noise, I don't recommend staying here.
"Pretty Lame " Read full review on YahooTravel   4/7/2009 Vote
4. I must have woken up no less than 5 times through out the night from weird ventilation noises.

5. at the end of the day, my suggestion is simple: If any of the things you`ve read, really worry you (noise, location, old rooms, etc), you should probably just find a Holiday Inn rather than risk being disappointed.
"Realistic Expectations " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/2/2008 Vote
6. I didn`t feel safe outside after dark, the street noise was extremely loud (as was the noise from the pool partiers), and the cops were called to the premises while we were there.
"Never again! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/29/2008 Vote
7. The loud noise from the nightclub as well as passersby was too much.
"Not a good place for the family " Read full review on Travelocity   5/1/2008 Vote
8. Still, for any guests unconcerned by mild noise levels, a bit of peeling paint here and there, and willing to walk a half-mile to the fun restaurants and bars of University Heighs and Hillcrest, you can`t beat it.
"More than acceptable for the low rate and location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/14/2008 Vote
9. We had had to tolerate a freezing cold room, bad customer service, no water, and banging noises all night long.
"Nice people, but lots of problems " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/29/2007 Vote
10. The noise did not clear up and when we called to have someone come over we were told that it was a 'temporary situation' and that it would definitely clear up that night, but that they couldn`t move us to another room because they were booked up again (so what would they have done with the guests who were currently in the room we had looked at that afternoon?).
