The walls seem to be thin as well as I kept hearing banging
noise
s until a bit after midnight from people closing their doors.

This gap is also present under the front door which doesn't help in keeping any hallway
noise
out so I take a towel from the bathroom and block the gap up when it's time to hit the sack.

They don't have central heat or air conditioning - it is the machine that attaches to the window - but, I've never minded this because I love the hum of those machines, they tend to drown out any background
noise
.

When we checked in, the girl at the desk was pleasant and recommended a room away from the dining area to avoid the
noise
at night, which we appreciated.

One other complaint about the rooms are that they all have large gaps under the doors which allow light and
noise
to stream in from the halls.

The hotel itself is well maintained with a newer, bright, modern decor in a quiet parklike setting (even though it's next to a small airport, the plane
noise
was barely noticable).

We didn't encounter many other guests so we didn't have problems with
noise
, although I could hear the elevator going up and down although we were down the hall from it.

The hotel was still undergoing renovation, but we didn't experience any
noise
or problems because of it.
