1. Hard rock is great, Se is fantastic, but the location of the W just outside of the gaslamp madness and conveniently located next to Karl Strauss brewery it does not get much better.

We had checked out of the Hard rock ( it was horrid) and had to trawl around to find another Hotel with rooms available, we were just beginning to despair when we arrived here, they gave us a front corner room( only one on each floor) it was very light and very large, the furnishings were of a high quality and seemed new.

4. We were in San Diego for the weekend to run the rock & Roll Marathon and stayed Sat & Sun nights at the W Hotel.
