1. The manager tried to rectify the problem but all he did was give us a $10 bottle of champagne7.

3. The biggest problem I had with this hotel was the noise that filtered into the rooms from the club.

4. The only downfall was the water that sprayed all over the floor from the shower - not really my problem - I was on holidays.

5. Though the room did have a few problems, most were remedied quickly by staff: The suite itself appeared to be comprised of two standard rooms connected with a sliding door (though two never-removed doorstops imply that it used to be a swinging door or was simply two adjoining rooms) with one room converted into a parlor / living room.
"A couple caveats, but still added to my short list of SD hotels " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/20/2011 Vote
6. I did have a minor problem with my remote not working, but it was quickly replaced even around 10 o'clock at night.
"Nice - would stay again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/15/2011 Vote
7. Being a relatively cold December week (mid 50's), the rooftop bar and lobby bar were not all that busy, and noise was not a problem.
"Nice - would stay again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/15/2011 Vote
8. We ere perplexed as to how we were expected to be moved to a new room (due to problems with our original room) without help from the hotel since we had a few pieces of luggage.

9. Then we received a call from front desk (Vinny, I believe) that they'd rather move us to a new room since it would take time for the engineer to amend the problem.

10. I think this W could be 5 stars if it focuses on restaffing its problem areas.
