1. --At check-in I wasn't recognized as a Platinum member (not a big deal, but acknowledgement was the simplest way of recognizing loyalty, no?)--First room given (room# 1720); sliding door was off-tracked.

3. it was rainy, so the bar on the roof was closed cause of the sand n all, which wasnt a big deal but they ended up giving us an upgrade to a higher room floor for free and they gave us a free bottle of champaign when they found out we were celebrating the 5 years.

6. The pool was embarrassingly small but pool season in San Diego is very short and with gorgeous beaches a short drive away, not a big deal.
