1. The Naval Air Station nearby often gave us a blast of jet noise but you get that anywhere in this town.

3. The airport is close by, the noise did not bother us, as the hotel filled up towards the end of our stay it got a little noisy, maybe best to get a second floor room.

7. We spent six nights here in December - got their standard king guest room facing the parking lot, a little bit of road noise during the daytime, but quiet at night because the traffic to Shelter island drops off.
