1. The downside was that I walked a block to CVS one morning and felt uncomfortable being out alone as there are many homeless people in the area around the hotel.

5. Only downside is there is no swimming pool in the hotel, otherwise it's the perfect hotel in the heart of San Diego.

8. The only downside is the expensive parking ($35/night) which I gather **from complaining to the concierge** is a separate company handling the parking structure.

9. I would say the only downside to the hotel is that there are many vagrants and homeless directly in front of the hotel, but I dont think you can help that in San Diego.

10. The downside was- no pool, more of a business hotel, very 'fancy', also alot of outside noise made it hard to sleep some nights.
