3. It was that hour where all the drunks are stumbling home, so maybe they were just being super loud, but it's not fun to wake up at 3am to a conversation between five people in the room next door.

Each train (and there are MANY on a daily basis) sounds its horn repeately as it approaches each intersection (and there are MANY intersections), so be prepared to hear a series of loud horn blasts roughly every 30 minutes in the evening and night hours - apparently sounding the horn is not obligatory during the daytime.
