1. The only downsides were that we happened to be in town during 'Fiesta', an unwitting accident of timing, and our hotel was flooded, the streets were blocked off, traffic was helacious, etc but the staff was great in handling everything.

4. The downside to the balcony was that it was shared (ran the length of the floor) so I didn't feel comfortable just leaving the balcony doors open but it was great to go out and feel the breeze, check out the river and passing gondolas, and the mariachi music floating up from several neighboring cafes.
