1. And that level of attention was evident everywhere from the concierge to the maid service to maintenance (who arrived twice during my stay to tend to a problem I didn't know I had - the maids had reported that my 'on-demand' movie channel, which I never use anyway, had less than perfect quality).

2. Many of them appeared to be thugs and gang members, and I noticed an increased police presence which would lead me to believe this is recognized as a problem.

3. My only complaint, which in a way is not the hotel's problem, is the clientele in the mall connected to the hotel during the evening hours.
