1. I had decided to spend the morning quietly in my room, but had to close the curtains in order not to be surprised w/ someone outside my 3rd-floor window, and turn the TV up very loud in order to hear it while 'relaxing.

10. The Red Lion near the Portland Convention Center is in a great location on the MAX line; however, the neighborhood can be a little iffy -- 2 nights in a row I heard loud voices cursing outside the hotel.
