3. Without soundproof windows, the noise coming from the street below was as loud as if the windows were wide open, (noise, incidentally, mostly made by people shouting to one another on a late night Saturday night, not traffic noise).

6. Between the unbelievably loud alarm system which went off in the middle of the night for at least a 1/2 hour, the repeated notifications it was a false alarm and no need to exit, and the extremely loud, obnoxious guests in the hallway, sleep at this hotel was, needless to say, elusive.
