6. It's certainly not 4 star just because of the hotel (maybe it gets that for the location) -- the furniture was pretty worn, and the TV a big tube thing from the '90's.

7. Even for a 'luxury room' the room finishes (wallpaper, carpet, curtains paint), bathroom and bed were worn and almost shabby.

8. A few disappointments were the bed (mushy and worn out), linens (cheap), water stained lamp shades, NO mini bar (or late night room service to speak of) and also, the room was awkwardly laid out so that you couldn't see the TV from the bed.

9. The rooms are dated and cramped, the appointments are worn, the spa is below average, and the hotel staff is far to laid back to provide the kind of service one would expect from a four star hotel.
