1. If you value walking around and being in the heart of the city, but don't mind a lack of amenities and up-to-date facilities, this hotel works well.

3. The room I was initially assigned had a number of defects:- The bedside lamp was broken;- The toilet seat fell to closed when raised; - Both in-room telephones lacked dial tone; and- The expensive wireless Internet access was broken.

4. There are the usual gripes about expensive hotels, the crazy parking prices, the lack of free wi-fi, but overall, we enjoyed our visit to the Loews immensely.

6. lack of a swivel for the TV - The tv stand in the armoir does not have a swivel so it is somewhat difficult to watch it from one side of the bed.

7. The only down side was the lack of elevators- it was a convention I was attending, so everyone was trying to get to the meetings at the same time.

8. The floors consistently had stains and food from previous meetings still on the rugs - restrooms on the conference levels lacked soap, the rooms were not sound proofed in anyway so the noise from the next session rang through.

10. My room lacked a hotel directory, therefore there was no room service menu, which is a shame because I was going to give them my room service business for breakfast.
