1. The design isssues such as layout, lack of a cosy feel in public areas etc are not the fault of those running the hotel - they are design flaws inherited from when the location was owned by another brand and had it built but Hyatt Place have done a great job making it as homely as possible wherever possible.

This hotel is aimed at the conference market which is both positive (not many screaming kids apart from ours, they don't scream much, & never seems over crowded) & negative (no coach to the parks, small pool & lack of some facilities)Good location for walking to number of restaurants, these include Millar Ale House (good atmosphere & great value), Bahama Breeze (good food/surroundings), Tony Romas (great ribs) & Olive Gardens (bright & good value) to name a few.

5. The Hyatt Place has less facilities & lacks some of the services that the Embassy Suites has but both hotels are very good & I would not hesitate to recommend either.

9. The only thing the hotel lacks is laundry facilities, but you can nip next door and use the one's at the Extended Stay hotel.

10. The dresser space was lacking for an extended stay and the desk did not explain that hotel info was on the tv channel (found this out when looking for an ice machine).
