3. When entering the room, I couldn't help but feel that even the smell was 'comfortable,' almost reminding you of visiting a friend's home (if you have very wealthy friends).

4. What I think they could improve upon: The windows to our beautiful view were not very clean (this was a theme through out the hotel, including the 1st floor cafe), The bath tub/showers were normal run of the mill bath tub/showers, the tv was smaller than I expected for a 5 star hotel (21 inches), and the room had a musty/old smell (which I kind of expected since it is an older hotel).

7. The only complaint I have is that the smell of the wood smoke from the kitchen permeated the room and that was not pleasant.

8. Regardless, I doubt that would happen to anyone else, and they did give us a candle to help with the smell and handled the situation with aplomb.
