1. Too much noise so close to guest rooms.

2. Even though our room on the third floor was right at the top of the grand staircase and close to the noise of the lobby bar, once our door was closed we couldn't hear a thing from the outside or neighboring rooms.

6. The hotel has a fabulous bar (Blu) on the top floor with a breathtaking view (something I didn't expect in Milwaukee) as well as intimate seating and a noise level that allowed for easy private conversations.

7. The rooms in the older section often are suite-sized but catch some of the street noise as they are on lower floors.
