Not too bad at the Double Tree; some
noise
but not sleep inhibiting.

When you stay at a downtown hotel you expect some (or a lot)
noise
well into the night.

The only complaints would be the cost of parking (but I imagine the other hotels in downtown charge the same) and some
noise
on the street outside.

The room was very nice and clean, overlooking the busy Greyhound bus station; the
noise
wasn't all that bad but I would avoid it in a future stay.

Located just two blocks from Beale Street it was an easy walk, yet you didn't hear all the
noise
at the hotel.

Unfortunately, the street
noise
(third floor), TGIFriday
noise
(downstairs), adjacent room
noise
, hallway
noise
, and the turbo-jet A/C fan all made for very difficult sleeping.

I would recommend staying above floor 8 so that you are outside the lobby area of the hotel, cuts the
noise
way down.
