5. Our first room (#324) came with blood/other stained carpets which had clearly outstayed their welcome, grey (not by manufacture) thread-bare net curtains, badly stained walls, dirty sheets and a rather odd (but not in a nice way) smell which I coulndn't quite put my finger on.

8. If you are leaning towards this location because of the beach across the street, beware the beaches is Key West aren`t that great, and this one has a bit of a foul smell which we sometimes could smell at night while sitting on our balcony.
