1. For me, the biggest downside (which was still rather minor) is that they really didn't make any accommodations for the kids.

2. On the slight downside, the staff was helpful, but not overly so - I've had more helpful staff at other similar hotels, but that alone would not dissuade me from the Ritz-Carlton Boston.
