3. This was a place that could have received an excellent rating, if not for the unprofessional, 'it is was it is, your problem not mine' night manager and the 'I can't do anything to help you, oh well, thanks for paying upfront' day manager.

4. We tried to resolve an issue regarding parking (the hotel parking lot was full when we checked in so we had to park elsewhere), their attitude was that it wasn't their problem.

5. We arrived late and even though I called and told them we'd be late and they assured me there would be parking in their garage however there wasn't any and we had to use public parking a block away and we had to pay for that which was a little unsettling to walk a block to the hotel at 11 pm but we didn't have any problems.

6. If you have a problem, but are polite to the staff while explaining your problem, chances are that the staff will be polite to you and help you in any way they can.

7. Normally, this would not be a problem but apparently the folks at Mount Vernon Hotel have ZERO idea that people from other places visit this city.
