Calls and complaints to the front desk were met with incompetence, as the staff alternately said there was no banging (there was), that it wasn't the hotel's fault (who cares, just stop it), that it would stop by 9:00 pm (it didn't), or that it had just been for one night (it went on for over a week).

5. i know this is not the hotel's fault, but the front desk was rude and unresponsive to complaints (hung up on me and did not take any action), and as a result, i got less than 5 hours of sleep the night before an important work presentation.

6. My only complaint is that on arrival at night, in the rain, the signs providing directions to the hotel within the Cross Keys complex were not clearly visible.
