1. The sidewalks and streets are filthy, littered with an amazing assortment of trash and broken glass - and yet when you get adjacent to the strip - clean and almost pristine.

3. The halls are filthy, it didn't look like anyone had run a vacuum down them in recent memory and there was a lot of litter in the hallways, stairwells and elevators; there are no garbage cans by the elevators or stairwells or exterior doors, however, which probably explains this.
