1. My room was on the 18th floor, get rooms on higher floors to avoid the long elevator wait at check out time during long weekends and holidays.

9. If you are sensitive to smoke, you are probably best to avoid all casino hotels, you will usually have to walk through the casino, where smoking is inevitably allowed, to get to the elevators for your rooms.
