1. Anyway, some comments on our stay:The good:- Large flat screen TVs (although we didn't watch anything so not sure about the quality of the picture)- Huge rooms - especially the 2 bedroom, it was enormous- Fast, free wifi in our room (but see below) - iPhone/iPod dock alarm clock that charges iPhone/ iPod- Daily towel service (but not much more) if requiredThe bad:- Surly/ unfriendly front desk staff- 'Chintzy' rooms - admittedly, we were clearly not in a 'reno'd' room, which we didn't get to see and may have been less chintzy?- Wifi practically non-existent in my parents' room/ anywhere else in the hotel- Annoyingly had to re-log in to wifi every time we came back to the room/ every morning wifi was provided by Ruckus Wifi, so not sure if it's their issue or the hotel's router)- Appalling lighting throughout the room - far too bright with hideous drop ceiling and nasty fluorescent lights in the kitchen- Couldn't hear the mono-rail outside the room but that was because of the really loud traffic noise from the road- Not a great location - sure it's only 5 mins from the Miracle Mile shops, but in the heat/ after a long day you just want to be back at your hotel - not walk even further and past some rather dodgy characters at night- Tiny pool and pool area - the water in the pool was very murky so it was difficult to see the steps/ sides (which were crumbling away)- The sun goes behind building by the pool by 3:30pm in early May.
