He offered us another room, same category we paid for and we arrive at a, well a dungeon, a dark room, and just like the previous room, characterized by
worn
carpet and aged decor, it was aweful.

The only minus for the room was the bedspread on the canopy bed was very
worn
and in desperate need of replacing.

The once fluffy towels are now hard and
worn
out, the maid service is spotty with empty cups and glasses left for days.

To be honest, you can definitely tell that this is an older hotel, with all the associated bumps and creaks, few
worn
areas, less sound dampening to the outside (which is why we specifically requested a room that did not face bustling 6th street).

It was fairly clean though, but it really looked
worn
out and old fashioned.
