The room was upstairs and i was immediately impressed with its unusual styling - it's very hip with a very 'clean' look which I would expect from a much more
expensive
hotel.

The wine bar was quite
expensive
, but everything in Austin seems to be pretty high priced.

We booked rather late, so had to stay in one of the shared bathroom rooms for two nights, and then in the most
expensive
room for our third.

Hanging out by the pool or the courtyard had a very cool vibe and was well shaded and super chill, but the stuff to order was very
expensive
.

I will also mention that I stayed in a Grand Standard room at about $200/night and that all the 'major' hotels were significantly more
expensive
and not near all the things you`ll want to see if you are visiting here.

Maybe this hotel is
expensive
for texas (150 per night?), but it`s rare you`d find a deal like this in another big city.

I`m not sure why some of the reviews are negative: the place is laid back (like the town it`s in), it`s not
expensive
(even the hell hole Days Inn is $80 a night including taxes) and the staff couldn`t be more helpful.
"The best hotel in Austin "
