I wanted to have the room discounted (I think per the mix up they should have just comped it considering the
expens
e it took for us between plane tickets and rental cars just to arrive at the place), but he said initially he couldn't do that.

We ate mostly at the buffets which were great value, we did think the rooms were too
expensive
though, compared to the best hotels in vegas or LA and this was a hotel in Albuquerque.

They provided transportation to many places around Albuquerque, which made this an extremely convenient place to stay without the added

Drink prices there were
expensive
too but, hey, what do you expect?Although Sandia does not allow you to bring alcohol into the hotel, you might try to be a bit creative to get around this rule if you would like to have a drink in your room.
