1. There was a constant humming noise coming from outside of the room.

4. On the down side, the rooms are a bit overpriced and it is an old hotel so be prepared to hear some noises upstairs from heavy fotted guests and the restaurant attached is pretty nice.

6. Regarding the street traffic issue, we have had more noise issues in 5 star hotels in Union Square, Nob Hill and Soma districts.

7. Beds are small and rigid (maybe good for someone with a bad back - trying to see the upside here), and be ready for a nice helping of city noises to lull you to sleep - mostly sirens and cars honking at each other at the intersection just outside the room.

9. We didn`t even notice any noise because A)it isn`t a child friendly hotel in my opinion, so, it is only adults using it & B)our suite had a nice `hallway` before you actually get to the living areas.

10. the following evening we heard eerie noises and our chandilear started flickering, coincidentally our light bulbs were just about out.
