After a week, we had to call the bank to file a formal complaint, since the hotel was not responding, and because we were accruing interest on a
mistake
made by the hotel.

SO, in the end, we are still at war with the hotel to try to get back OUR money, even though THEY made the
mistake
of a) charging us twice for the room and b) refunding a closed bank account with no authorization.
