1. As others have said, the area around the hotel is undergoing major restoration work and a new Marriott hotel is being built in front of the hotel causing some noise, which wasn't an issue for us (we could sleep without any problem until at least 8-9 am).

4. The biggest problem is the very active construction site directly outside our window -- they start at 6:00am and end at 8:00pm every day including Saturday and the noise is unbearable.

6. it was a little disconcerting, but even on a holiday weekend there wasn't anything too bad, and the kids are used to NYC so it wasn't a problem.

7. The neighbourhood doesn't look so nice, but we didn't have any problems walking to the hotel at night.
"Luxury hotel, neighbourhood not so nice but walking distance to the city centre " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/10/2011 Vote
8. The bathroom is a little bit on the small side, however, and there is not a lot of room around the sink area, but it was not a problem.
"Great value and location!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/24/2011 Vote
9. There was a problem with the sheets on my bed and it took 45 min to respond, then had to make my own bed - no housekeeping staff on at night.
"Need to work on Customer Service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/25/2010 Vote
10. Because of all the marble floors, you could hear people in the hallway very clearly, although for the most part this was not a problem.
