1. As others have said, the area around the hotel is undergoing major restoration work and a new Marriott hotel is being built in front of the hotel causing some noise, which wasn't an issue for us (we could sleep without any problem until at least 8-9 am).

4. Additionally -- the floors throughout the hotel including the hallways and the rooms -- are marble -- and there are no rugs, so noise is amplified and you can hear people all the way down the hall.

5. The biggest problem is the very active construction site directly outside our window -- they start at 6:00am and end at 8:00pm every day including Saturday and the noise is unbearable.
