7. I didn't find it so bad, the public spaces were very pleasant and nicely decorated, as well as the restaurant, which we tried.

So what are my thoughts : The Monaco had lovely people(the concierges are excellent and know everyone by name), we loved the happy hour at 5pm with free wine and massages, free water in the lobby and free coffee/tea in the mornings, the rooms were quiet, the gym was not bad, location is very good and the spa looked good as well.

9. My own fault for not looking at the reviews and hotel website better, so I hope that any one with bad allergies who thinks they might be ok for an extended stay at this hotel reads this review.

10. I know many hotels in SF are pet friendly, and most allow cats and small dogs, but if you are badly allergic to animals, I would steer clear of this hotel.
