The elevators were very
slow
so we chose to use the stairs most of the time but we were only on the second floor.

Our complaints would be that the room was noisy and too bright at night from the city lights(need heavier drapes) and the elevator was small and
slow
.

I know that the BW has been undergoing renovations (
slow
ly, but surely), so anyone who has written a not-so-favorable review who had an older room would probably be satisfied with the newer rooms.

Yes, the elevator is small and
slow
, but if you're patient, it does get you where you need to go and if you're in a hurry, the stairs are clearly marked.
