Menkes, I emailed the general reception desk regarding the same matter, where I received a response riddled with grammar and spelling errors (which is no crime, but again reinforced the feeling of unprofessionalism), informing me that the room I have been assigned is not known for its view, and if I wanted a view, it would cost XX dollars more per night, and this offer would expire in 24 hours.

2. First, the hotel made an error on my reservation and then the hotel did absolutely nothing to correct the mistake.

5. My problem is whatever happened to a good old fashioned apology? It outrages me that this very beautiful establishment has shut down lines of communication and have not taken adequate responsibililty for its enormous error.
