1. Everything in Chicago being pricey, we selected Embassy Suites for it's family-friendly rooms and the breakfast.

3. Hotel valet parking was a little pricey - $44 per day, but there is a covered parking ramp adjacent which only charges $35 per day (with no in/out priviliges, though).

Compared to other Chicago hotels I have stayed at, there are five things I particularly liked:1) Unlike many hotels where the room's 'minibar' is stuffed with pricey drinks and has sensors that add a fee to your bill even if you just move an item, the refrigerator in my room here was empty, giving me plenty of room for my own things.

7. Clock was set to wrong hour (1 hour fast) w/ no apparent way to reset and parking was pricey.

8. I also thought that the hotel cost was a bit pricey (but I tend to be frugal) but to consider its location in the middle of the city, it worked out for us.
