My only complaint about the workout facility was that the equipment was kind of dusty, not really
dirty
, but it did not look as though they have anyone assigned to clean the equipment on a regular basis.

I was expecting to get met with

looks walking into such a nice hotel, but the staff were just smiling at us and held open the door for us to get inside quickly.

My first impression upon entering the lobby was someone should shampoo this

carpet.

We had to pay about 12 dollars to have them bring us up extra glasses since the old ones were

and the maid did not switch them out.

Finally, the Blackstone is a gorgeous old hotel, but the new rugs in the lobby are already
dirty
and tired -- which like condition of the lunge chairs indicates to me that the facility may have a maintenance problem.
