1. Our room was right next to the elevator, and I was afraid it would be noisy, but it was nice and quiet, except for some street noises to be expected.

4. I wonder why? Fine hotel but there is construction next door that runs 6 days a week - 8am-8pm, with noisy consturciton elevators running 12 hours a day and bright lights on 24/7.
