Our room was right next to the elevator, and I was afraid it would be
noisy
, but it was nice and quiet, except for some street noises to be expected.

I wonder why? Fine hotel but there is construction next door that runs 6 days a week - 8am-8pm, with
noisy
consturciton elevators running 12 hours a day and bright lights on 24/7.

I had asked for a corner room but instead was given a small and very dark room looking out onto a wall 10 feet away with multiple
noisy
vents immediately outside the window.

One caution: there is a large construction site next to the hotel, so rooms facing that side will be
noisy
after 8:00 a.
