1. I was aware before going that the room would be small, have bunk beds and wouldn't be ensuite but I was still shocked when I got into the room.

8. You can imagine our shock when, arriving in New York City and intending to stay in a hosted B&B, my husband and I called our B&B to get directions and were told that our 'host' could no longer take guests.

10. The other shock was that the hotel has you sign a paper saying you won`t smoke in their non-smoking hotel or you will be fined $250.
