1. On the negative side, even though there is free Wi-Fi, in the room that I had it was totally frustrating to use, since the signal kept getting lost, sometimes when I was in the middle of emailing or researching.

4. I'm dividing this review into positives and negatives for an easier read: Positives:- fantastic rate (off season, January, in middle of winter, almost 1/2 of other NYC hotels in area)- great location (for me anyways) subways were about 2-3 blocks away including the 'E' train that takes your from/to JFK airport and also takes you to the 9/11 Memorial (breathtaking is all I can say about it about memorial).

9. I don't really want to say anything negative about this hotel, but if I had to find a negative, it would be that the shared bathroom was opposite my room.
