1. The neighborhood was a bit scary at first with a few rundown houses and homeless folks, but it wasn`t bad at all.

2. --The breakfast buffet, while ample, is not worth the time and effectively wastes an opportunity to have a great meal in a great foodie-lover`s town (HORRIBLE coffee, juice not fresh and some more like Sunny Delight, scary looking pastries definitely not freshly baked or high quality, scrambled eggs looked like they were reconstituted powdered variety).

3. Some reviews on TripAdvisor are unsure about the University District`s safety; while there are some scary-looking people on the street, we have never had any problems walking around there, even at night, as long as you pay attention to your surroundings.
