We also tried the Portage Cafe down at the Watertown`s sister hotel, University Inn, and while the atmosphere was pretty cool, the service was horrible (waitress was rude and apparently at the end of her shift) and the menu was mostly organic/health food so it was 'different' from what we are used to.

3. --The breakfast buffet, while ample, is not worth the time and effectively wastes an opportunity to have a great meal in a great foodie-lover`s town (HORRIBLE coffee, juice not fresh and some more like Sunny Delight, scary looking pastries definitely not freshly baked or high quality, scrambled eggs looked like they were reconstituted powdered variety).

4. I had a trade show at the Seattle convention center and it was a snap getting there & back--less than 10 minutes even with Seattle`s notoriously horrible traffice on I-5.
