1. Although we did rent a jeep for one day to explore the island, this was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it if you don't mind getting a little dusty and bouncing around on dirt roads.

2. Most of the roads are dirt (or should I say red clay) and the only way to get to many of the cool places that they have to see.
