1. Even though we read tons of 'warnings' from travel books and websites, we walked to and from the French Quarter EVERY NIGHT, sometimes as late as 4am, and NEVER FELT UNSAFE.

2. The hotel is ideally situated as its only 5 minutes from the French Quarter and even walking back later at night after a few beers we didnt feel unsafe.
