1. Miami Beach is an urban environment so yes, it is noisy most of the time.

2. On the downside our room was on the second floor at the back which meant our room overlooked the alley below, not pretty but that didn't bother us, the problem was a huge noisy lorry parked in the alley.

4. The pool was much appreciated but as was right on the street - quite noisy and always busy - if we didnt get up before 8am then no sunbeds for us.

Ocean Drive is the main front, its lively, noisy and a touch expensive, so if you want to be in bed asleep before 1am with money left, maybe choose somewhere else as the whole front is buzzing till then, although it does calm down a bit from midnight and Park Central is towards the quieter end as well which is a bonus.
