1. The staff were definitely less friendly than what i've experieneced elsewhere in the US but they weren't rude or anything.

2. So, apparently, depending on your luck, or time of the day, you may experience nice or rude staff at the front desk.

3. One negative incident to note is that I asked if I could extend the checkout one hour and this lady on the phone from the front desk rudely responded that it wasn't possible and that they would send someone up to the room to get us out if we were not at the front desk by the check out time.
