7. The hotel was in an fantastic location on Ocean Drive close to numerous restaurants and bars however its very expensive to eat here but worth it as the food is superb as is the people watching.

Ocean Drive is the main front, its lively, noisy and a touch expensive, so if you want to be in bed asleep before 1am with money left, maybe choose somewhere else as the whole front is buzzing till then, although it does calm down a bit from midnight and Park Central is towards the quieter end as well which is a bonus.

9. South Beach is very expensive so I recommend walking inland to eat meals and buy your beer/liquor from the liquor store to try to cut down on cost.

10. Even the cheap Howard Johnson Deezerland hotel in North Beach offered a complimentary local newspaper, so why not this expensive hotel? The only response I got was: 'No paper in room? No at bar? No? No newspaper.
