1. Well, I wanted to stay somewhere cheap (I was there on business and I wanted to hit the beach hard so I knew I wasn't going to be lounging in the room) and somewhere with a good location.

2. I'm from Australia but live abroad and I know that sometimes accents can be hard to understand, but, I have never experienced such an incompetent front desk attendant.

3. the bathroom was clean, saw no mold, the sheets were white, the pillows were soft and fluffy--which i love, the AC worked, flat screen TV made it hard to leave the room at times, plenty of room to store our clothes--2 people of course, equipt w/ 2 full size beds, an extra sink in the sleeping area, marble counter top & even a fake orchid to decorate the flowery setting.

5. I suppose if we spent more time in our room, I'd be a bit more irritated, but with everything there is to do within walking distance, we were hardly in the room except to change and sleep - and the price of the hotel was a real value for the amount of time we spent in it.
