2. Luckily we only used the hotel to sleep there, service was excellent and the staff really go out of their way to check you in quickly and are very helpful, the service makes up for the lack of luster.

3. ' What?? Maybe she thought I had checked out already and come to clean my room, but at 8:30 in the morning? And since I heard her knock on the next door and get a similar response, I can only assume there's a serious lack of communication between housekeeping and the front desk staff, who would presumably KNOW who had checked out and who was still there.
